Areas we serve

A Fife technology company, working across Scotland

Central Systems designs websites, builds automation and connected business systems, and does the search work that makes them findable. We are based in Leslie, near Glenrothes, and we work with businesses from Dunfermline to Highland Perthshire — and well beyond when the project warrants it.

Where we are

Based in Fife, and straightforward about it

4 High Street, Leslie, Glenrothes, Fife KY6 3DA

One office, one team, one address. We do not operate virtual offices in other cities, and you will not find a Central Systems "Edinburgh branch" or "Perth branch" anywhere — because there is not one.

It is common in this industry to list a dozen cities and imply a presence in each. We would rather be useful than impressive about it. The build work — design, development, integrations, automation, technical SEO — happens on a computer, and it is no better for being done nearer to you. What genuinely changes with geography is narrower, and real.

Meeting in person stays practical across central Scotland, and for a project of any size that is worth something at the start. Knowing the market matters more than people expect: trade in Fife does not look like trade in Edinburgh, and a business in Perth may serve a catchment larger than several Edinburgh suburbs combined. That affects what a website should say, which is upstream of every design decision. And if you win work within a defined geography, how your site is structured around that geography is a genuine ranking factor rather than a sentimental one.

So the pages below are not a directory. Each one exists because that market has something specific enough to say about it to be worth a reader's time. Where it does not, we have not written one — and we have published the standard we apply before any location page is allowed to be indexed, so you can hold us to it.

The areas

Where we work most often

Five markets we know well enough to write about properly. Each behaves differently, which is exactly why they are separate pages.

Fife

Home market

Where we are, and where a lot of our work is. Fife is not one market but several — Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, St Andrews and the coastal towns each behave differently, and a business that assumes otherwise usually targets the wrong thing.

Edinburgh

Competitive city market

Roughly an hour away, and a completely different commercial problem. Firms here are judged next to national brands and well-funded competitors, and search visibility is contested by businesses that mostly are not making obvious mistakes.

Perth & Perthshire

A catchment, not a town

One of the largest council areas in Scotland and among the more sparsely populated. Most businesses here serve a coverage area rather than a high street, which changes both what the website has to do and how the search work should be approached.

Dundee

Design and technology-led

A city with a genuine design and technology culture, and clients whose expectations of a website reflect that. Close enough to Fife that the working relationship is easy, distinct enough that the market is its own.

Falkirk

Between two city markets

Sitting between Glasgow and Edinburgh, with many businesses selling into both. That dual orientation shapes what the website has to do, and who it is actually being compared against.

Everywhere else

No page, still welcome

We work with businesses across Scotland and further afield, including plenty of places with no page here. A page exists when we have something specific to say about that market — not as a condition of taking the work.

What we do, wherever you are

The location changes the argument, not the capability

Website design

Business websites built to produce enquiries rather than to look finished — with booking, quoting, qualification and integration where they genuinely earn their place.

Website redesign

Rebuilding a dated or underperforming site while protecting the search visibility it already has. Migration planning is part of the project, not an afterthought.

SEO & growth

Technical foundations, content that answers real questions, and measurement against enquiries rather than impressions. No guaranteed rankings, because nobody can honestly offer them.

Business automation

Removing the repeated manual admin between an enquiry arriving and someone acting on it — acknowledgement, routing, follow-up and record-keeping.

AI integrations

Practical uses of AI inside a business that already works, rather than as a feature bolted onto the homepage.

Ongoing care

Maintenance, monitoring and continuing improvement, so a site that was good on launch day is still good two years later.

Tell us where you are and what you are trying to fix

Whether or not there is a page here for your area, the first conversation is the same one: what the website is supposed to do for the business, and whether it currently does it.
